MAT 2027

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). MAT is used as an entrance exam for admission to various management programs in India, including MBA and PGDM courses. (https://mat.aima.in/) MAT typically consists of five sections: > Language Comprehension > Mathematical Skills > Data Analysis and Sufficiency > Intelligence and Critical Reasoning > Indian and Global Environment. Each section in the MAT exam is scored separately. The overall score is a composite of the scores from these sections. The exam does not have negative marking for wrong answers. The MAT exam can be taken in two formats: Paper-Based Test (PBT) and Computer-Based Test (CBT). The PBT is a traditional, pen-and-paper test, while the CBT is an online test. MAT Exam Eligibility: > Graduates with 50% in any discipline > Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply It's important to check the official website and management institute websites for the latest information, including exam dates, eligibility criteria, and any changes in the exam pattern. MAT is usually conducted four times a year, in the months of February, May, September, and December. Institution will release their respective cut off MAT Scores which a candidate should meet to get qualified for admission to that particular Institution. Once qualified, the candidate will have to comply with the selection procedure of that particular Institution, which may comprise of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of the candidate will be based on the candidate’s performance in GD & PI. MAT Exam Fees: The MAT application fee is same for all exam modes. The fee amount to be paid is INR 2100 for every single attempt irrespective of the exam mode. If a candidate wishes to combine two attempts (e.g. IBT+IBT, PBT+CBT, IBT+PBT, IBT+CBT), then they will have to pay INR 1200 additionally.
